The are of Sagres is stunning, the beaches are beautiful, the fortress is a great place to visit and the town is really beautiful. I ate the local dish of Bacalhau a Bras, OMG it was amazing and has to be tried at least once. I thoroughly recommend a visit to Sagres

The beaches of Albufeira are beautiful but OMG has the place changed since my last visit 35yrs ago. Not sure if it's because we were there over a weekend but almost every single bar/restaurant in both Sao Joao and Albufeira were full of drunken (mostly English) men on stag parties. I can't imagine what the evenings are like as we only visited during the day. There are some lovely bars and restaurants to choose from just maybe go during the week when the stag parties have gone home. The hop on hop off tourist train is a great way to get around for only 8 euros all day.

Prachtig, vooral de kustlijn rond Luz/Lagos maar ook de Cap Sao Vicente met de plaats Sagres waren zeer de moeite waard!

Im Mai sehr zu empfehlen, alles ist grün und blüht.
